Step 1. Select Recording Days: At the top of the screen, tap the days of the week for the schedule to be active. Selected days will appear blue , while unselected days are grey .
Example: For a standard work week, select Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri.
Step 2. Set Time Slots & Intervals: This is where you define when the camera will record on the selected days.
- Time Range: Tap to set the start and end times for a recording session.
- Interval: Tap to set the photo-taking frequency (e.g., "10 Min, 15 Min, 30 Mins") for that specific time range. A key feature is that each time slot can have a different interval.
· Add a timeslot: You can add up to 6 time slots per day. This is perfect for automatically skipping a lunch break or varying the recording frequency.
Example Setup:
- Time Range 1: 08:00 ~ 12:00 (Interval: 10 Min) - Frequent capture
- Time Range 2: 13:00 ~ 17:00 (Interval: 30 Min) - Less frequent capture
Step 3. Choose Your ‘Save Method’: This setting determines how your capturing are grouped together. The ‘Save Method’ works directly with the ‘Output’.
The ‘Output’ determines what kind of files are saved, while the ‘Save Method’ determines when those files are saved.
- Merge: Capturing across all active days and time slots will be grouped into one folder (and one timelapse video).
- Per Timeslot: Capturing from each timeslot will be grouped into one folder (and one timelapse video).
- Daily: Capturing from one entire day will be grouped into one folder (and one timelapse video).
- Weekly: Capturing from one entire week will be grouped into one folder (and one timelapse video).
- Monthly: Capturing from one entire month will be grouped into one folder (and one timelapse video).
What to Expect After the Schedule Starts
After you have configured your schedule and tap the ‘Start’ button at the bottom of the screen, the camera's behaviour will depend on the current time:
- Standby (Running Hourglass Icon): This is the camera’s default state while a schedule is active. You will see a running hourglass icon on the main screen. The camera is in ‘Standby’ mode whenever it is waiting for the next scheduled capture or before your time slot begins.
- Capturing (Running Red Circle Icon): When the internal clock reaches a scheduled capture time, the camera will wake from standby, and the record button will display in running red circle to show it is actively capturing.
Once your schedule is set and started, you can safely disconnect the app. The camera saves the schedule internally and will follow it automatically until you manually terminate it.
