Supported models: ATL Series (ATL4500G, ATL4500, ATL3500). E Series (E10, EON); T Series (T330). EP Series (EP8).

ATLI Desk supports three ways to connect to your camera:

  1. Remote access via the internet

  2. Connection through the same local network

  3. Direct connection to the camera’s Wi-Fi

Choose the Right Connection Method

Connection method Camera and computer location Internet required
Remote access Camera and computer can be in different locations Yes
Same local network Camera and computer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi No, but both devices must be on the same network
Direct Wi-Fi connection Computer must be within the camera’s Wi-Fi range No

Method 1: Remote Access via the Internet

Use this method when you need to access a camera from another location.

Set Up Remote Access

  1. Power on the camera and access it through the ATLI Cam+ mobile app.

  2. Open the camera’s WLAN settings.

  3. Select the local Wi-Fi network and enter its password.

  4. Go back to the camera list, wait for the globe icon to turn green.

A green globe icon confirms that the camera has internet access and remote access is active.

  1. Open ATLI Desk on your computer.

  2. Sign in using the same ATLI account used in the mobile app.

The camera should now appear online in both ATLI Cam+ and ATLI Desk. Your computer and camera do not need to be connected to the same network.

Important: If your phone is connected directly to the camera’s Wi-Fi, you may still be able to control the camera locally. However, this does not mean remote access is active. The globe icon must be green.

Method 2: Connect Through the Same Local Network

Use this method when the camera and computer are at the same location and can connect to the same router.

Connect Through the Local Network

  1. Use the ATLI Cam+ mobile app to connect the camera to the local Wi-Fi network.

  2. Connect your computer to the same Wi-Fi network or router.

  3. Open ATLI Desk.

  4. Wait for ATLI Desk to discover the camera on the local network.

The camera should appear in ATLI Desk and can be controlled locally.

An internet connection is not required for local access, but the camera and computer must be connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.

Method 3: Connect Directly to the Camera’s Wi-Fi

Use this method when no router or local Wi-Fi network is available.

Find the Camera’s Wi-Fi Password

  1. Tap on the ... icon on the camera card.

  2. Open the Information and locate the camera’s Wi-Fi password

Camera List_Information_Camera Wi-Fi Password

Each camera has a unique Wi-Fi password. This password cannot be changed manually.

Connect the Computer

  1. Power on the camera.

  2. Open the WLAN or Wi-Fi settings on your computer.

  3. Find the camera’s Wi-Fi SSID in the list of available networks.

  4. Select the camera’s Wi-Fi and enter its password.

  5. Once connected, open ATLI Desk.

The camera should now be available for local control.

Note: If your computer normally uses Wi-Fi to access the internet, it will temporarily lose its internet connection while connected directly to the camera.

Troubleshooting

Camera Appears Offline During Remote Access

Check that:

  • The camera has been connected to a local Wi-Fi network through ATLI Cam+.

  • The globe icon is green.

  • The local Wi-Fi network has internet access.

  • ATLI Desk and ATLI Cam+ are signed in to the same ATLI account.

  • The camera and router have a stable connection.

Camera Is Not Found on the Local Network

Check that:

  • The camera and computer are connected to the same router.

  • The computer is not connected to a guest network.

  • The camera is powered on.

  • ATLI Desk has permission to access devices on the local network.

Direct Connection Is Not Working

Check that:

  • The computer is connected to the camera’s Wi-Fi rather than the local router.

  • The correct camera Wi-Fi password has been entered.

  • The computer is within the camera’s Wi-Fi range.

  • The camera is powered on and has completed its startup process.
