FTP Auto Sync

The FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Auto Sync feature allows the camera to automatically upload your completed videos and photos directly to your own FTP server. This is an excellent way to create remote backups, access files without retrieving the camera, or integrate footage into an automated workflow.

The camera automatically uploads each new photo shortly after it is captured. The final timelapse video will be uploaded after the recording session is finished.

FTP Auto Sync Setup

To set up the connection, you will need the login credentials for your FTP server.

1 Server Address: Enter the IP address or domain name of your FTP server (e.g., ftp.yourcompany.com or 192.168.1.100).

2 Port: The default port for FTP is 21. If your server administrator has specified a different port, enter it here.

3 Username: Enter the username required to log in to your FTP server.

4 Password: Enter the password for your FTP server account.

5 Destination Folder: Specify the exact folder path on your server where you want the files to be saved. Example: /timelapse_Project/Lobby_Cam/

Verifying Your Connection

·     View Logs: Select View Logs to see a detailed history of all sync activities, including successful uploads and any errors. This is the first place to check if you are having connection issues.

·     Test: After filling in all the fields, select Test. The camera will attempt to connect to your server to verify that the settings and credentials are correct. A success message will appear if the connection is established.

Automatically Delete synced data

·     Off (Default): Files will remain on the memory card after being uploaded to the server. This is the safest option.

·     On: The camera will automatically delete files from the memory card after they have been successfully uploaded. This helps manage memory card space for continuous, long-term recording, but your FTP server will become the only copy of the data.

Note

The Auto Sync feature is temporarily disabled while the camera is actively connected to the ATLI app. Uploading will automatically resume approximately 2 minutes after you disconnect from the app.
