View your time lapse footage while the recording is in progress. Tap the
"play button" to start the preview.

UI Example: Referencing the recording status bar shown above:
5Sec | Video+Photo | 00:01
-
5Sec: The selected interval. A photo is taken every 5 seconds.
-
Video+Photo: The selected output mode.
-
00:01: The current duration of the generated timelapse video.
How it works in practice: To reach the 00:01 video duration shown in the example, the camera had to capture 25 individual frames. Because the interval is set to 5Sec, it took 125 seconds (just over 2 minutes) of real-time recording to accumulate enough frames for that single second of video.
Note: Preview availability depends on your shooting interval. Because the camera operates at a fixed 25 FPS, it requires 25 captured frames to generate 1 second of video.
-
Example: With a 1-second interval, you can view a 1-second preview after 25 seconds of recording.
-
Example: With a 5-minute interval, you must record for 125 minutes to generate that same 1-second preview.
