This chapter describes the SMS feature when LTE mode is enabled. This function allows for two-way communication, enabling you to both receive important administrative messages from your cellular carrier and send commands to manage your service directly from the device.
This feature is a powerful utility for interacting with your carrier's automated systems. Common uses include:
-
Receiving data usage warnings and service alerts.
-
Sending codes to check your pre-paid balance.
-
Topping up your data plan by sending a voucher code.
-
Subscribing to or changing service packages.

Setting Up SMS Notifications
To ensure you never miss a critical alert from your carrier, the camera can forward incoming SMS messages directly to you as an app notification or an email. This is especially useful when the device is installed in a remote location.
To enable and configure these alerts, follow these steps:
-
Open the ATLI Cam+ app, navigate to Me > Notifications.
-
Locate the setting for Camera SIM Card Received SMS.
-
Enable the notification types you wish to receive:
-
Notifications: When this is selected, any SMS received by the camera will be instantly sent as a push notification to your smartphone via the app.
-
Email: When this is selected, the content of the received SMS will be forwarded to the email address associated with your user account.
